054. Day 59. Monday 11th May 2009. Some repairs and an easy day around camp…

Geoff takes us shopping. A new mobile battery for $20 and all the fittings for the grey water tap. I have opted to replace the plastic tap with a good quality, lever type, brass fitting. All up the fittings cost $28. Good onyer Geoff.

This afternoon the new battery is on charge while I concentrate on removing and replacing the grey water tap. I musty say I am pleased with the result. It looks good and works with a smooth action.

I borrow Geoffs rivet gun, replace the fitting on the bathroom door, spray it with silicon and make an adjustment to the spring settings and it works better than it did from new. We also take the time to fit the new suction hooks and towel rail. These look good and hang on tight with no drilling of holes or waiting for glues to dry.

I am pleased with what got done today but the bus still needs a wash and we still need to find a seal replacement kit for the toilet cassette.

I am looking forward to your comment. Any questions.
