058. Day 63. Friday 15th May 2009. In the grip of the grape…

Went to move the MH this morning and those pesky warning lights are on! We arranged to take the MH to an auto leckie at Maitland.
Cold blustery winds stayed with us all day.

Roy & Katherine took us to the Hunter Valley for an inspection of a winery along with tastings and very nice lunch at an Irish bar.

Shortly after lunch we received the call I was dreading.

The leckie found we were missing a fan belt and the remaining belt was loose. They replaced both belts, put it all back together, it all worked perfectly until the warning lights came on again. They have to pull out the alternator and it will take most of the afternoon. They are closed over the weekend so we will not know until sometime Monday if the alternator can be repaired, rewound or replaced. In all cases we will be here until at least Monday afternoon.

Thank you Roy and Katherine.

Tomorrow they are taking us to Port Stephens.

Katherine, Elvis n me.
